Northern Beaches Open (NBO) 2024 @ Castle Hill, Sydney, Australia

The Northern Beaches Floorball Club is proud to host our annual Northern Beaches Open (NBO). The event runs for 3 days from Saturday 5 October to Monday 7 October 2024. The tournament is open to Australian and international teams. So grab your sticks and register your teams for some epic floorball fun!

NBO Venue - Hills Basketball Stadium, Castle Hill, Sydney

This year our Northern Beaches Open Floorball event will be held at the Hills Basketball Centre, Caterson Drive, Castle Hill, Sydney NSW 2154.

This is a superb venue with two halls both with grandstands.

This will give space for 4 courts.

A fabulous Cafe and lots of parking will be available at the venue.

NBO Divisions

We are putting in our best efforts to bring you a fabulous floorball tournament, including a high volume of games per team. This means each team can expect to play at least 5 games at the event over 3 days.

Adult Divisions

The NBO will include both an adult Women's and Men's division for floorball players over the age of 15.

Junior Division

Our junior division will be split into u 11s and u 15s. Kids over the age of 15 at the time of the tournament are expected to play in the development division unless an age exemption is submitted. This will help us keep players safer due to size while still trying to maintain a high number of teams in each division.

Development Teams

This is a mixed competition with both female and male players welcome to play. Some rules to mention are no national players from the last 5 years, only 1 elite male player on the court at any one time and, a minimum of 1 female player excluding the goalie on the court at any time during a match.
